Name of Project: No to Computer Addiction!
Goal of the Project: Tracing the time spent on the computer during a week and filling out the computer time journal the students are supposed to come out with 3-5 tips on how to avoid computer addiction and improve their ways of living.
Dear iEARN friends,
Let's say "NO" to computer addiction and make our lifestyles healthier!
1) Please follow this link, do the webquiz and fill out the computer time journal to trace the time you spent on the computer and to compare it with the time you spent on physical exercise. This is a webquest. The side menu has several sections. You can read the Welcome section, watch the Introduction video and study the Task section. The computer time journal is in the Process section. You can download the journal on your computer and print it out. Then within a week the students are supposed to fill out the journal. You are also welcome to answer the reflexion questions. We would appreciate if you provide us with 5-7 submissions from each school. The teachers are welcome to send the students' journals on my email: ONK10@yandex.ru
Alternatively you can do a survey online.
2) Do the poll and answer the question "What do you use the internet for? You can use up to 40 characters in your answer. We ask for 5-7 submissions from each school.
3) Now let's come out with some tips on how to improve our lifestyles and avoid computer addiction. Fill out the Padlet please. We would appreciate 1 submission from each school with 3-5 tips.
Deadline for receiving information: November 20, 2015.
